Quiet neighborhood without a lot going on but the same building in River North would be way more expensive. we have a wrap around balcony and great sized bedrooms, granite countertops and sleek cabinets. Good distance to all parts of the city and highway so river north and other happening parts are close by. we generally love our building and apartment - but i travel for work so i'm never there :)

Our unit is very nice but the management needs work, and the threshold for accepting respectful tenants is low.

Our unit is perfect for a family.
What did you like least?
Some of the tenants in the building, but I think you find that in any rental.

Overall it has been great. The building is very nice, modern and well-maintained, rental rates seem reasonable for the area and quality of the building. Probably the nicest building I've ever lived in and everyone (residents and staff) is very friendly. Very well-located, immediate River West neighborhood is pretty industrial and quiet but still very walkable with enough options to keep us entertained and well-fed, and very close/easy to get to busier areas (West Loop, River North, Wicker Park and beyond) as well as the interstate.
What did you like most?
Location (convenient and fun), and building/unit quality - huge balcony, all very high-end updated finishes (granite, SS, hardwood, etc), in-unit W/D, and efficient space layout makes the most of a small unit (e.g., open kitchen with huge countertops). Great water pressure and fitness room.
What did you like least?
Temp control is challenging - always too warm at night due to poor air circulation in our unit's loft-layout "bedroom" (no windows or vent, just open doorway).
