Nice building, feel safe, well updated apartment, perfect size for one person in the city, close proximity to most everything.

Design of apartment and security.

Location is getting a bit old for me since I've lived in the area for 5+ years.

I love my building - I rent from someone who owns my unit, but the building management itself is great. It is an expensive area (Old Town), but my view is fantastic (I overlook the lake) and I have a balcony and tons of closet space. The door people and maintenance staff are excellent! There's one rather grumpy woman that works in the office, but the other office staff are very nice. I have access to a small gym, pool, and tennis courts, but I've never used the pool (but hopefully will use the courts soon!). Overall it's a great building located in the heart of Old Town, part of the Sandburg Community, and I would definitely recommend it to friends.
What did you like most?
I really like that there's a small gym on site (it's never crowded), and that the building is mainly populated by older folks who have lived there a long time. It's not noisy at all! It's also a pet-friendly building, and a lot of dogs live there, so I get to pet lots of furry friends everyday. Laundry is very convenient, and I never have to wait to use machines.
What did you like least?
The elevators sometimes break down, and in a building with 43 floors, that can be a problem. They usually fix them pretty quickly, but one time one of the main elevators was out for a whole month.

It's a very safe building, lots of amenities and very mixed in terms of young/old tenants - some have lived here for 25+ years but there are a lot of young people renting. Tends to be pretty quiet, but has an amazing roof-deck!
What did you like most?
Quietness of building, safety, view of Lake Michigan from my balcony.
What did you like least?
Slow elevators, sometimes one is broken and it really delays your routine!
