Great. Renting from condo owners who could not sell. Very awesome people let us do repairs and compensate us for them. Chose place for wood floors and trim, not like most apts were the walls look like theyre melting from 20 coats of white, and a ton of window light. Safe and quiet neighborhood close to lake and montrose beach. Still getting to know area, finding great food and bars, just not as close as some other areas. avg. age seems little older than us, lot of families.
What did you like most?
Closeness to lake, quietness of neighborhood, awesome landlords wood floors and trim, windows, large bedroom for price.
What did you like least?
Far from work (~45 min to west town). Nightlife/restaurants not as great or as many options as say wicker park. Street parking is a pain, usually ~1/2 mile from home. Dealing with comcast, before the condo assoc. switched providers.
