Good building because I prefer to rent directly from owner, not building management company. But this makes access to building management slower because all communication and requests must go through the landlord. Also, difficult to find recourse if neighbors' conduct becomes disruptive--noise, smoking, building security, etc.--because neighbors are owners.
What did you like most?
Bucktown location, character of building, renting directly from unit owner.
What did you like least?
Little recourse when/if neighbors become disruptive. Limited access to building management as renter, not owner, especially on weekends.
