We are first time home owners, and the rest of our building is either rented or owned. The building is self-managed and is generally well maintained. We have a garage and the other tenants sometimes forget to put down the garage door, which makes us nervous about the security of items in our garage and access to our porches/back door.

Very good. I own the third unit in a three story walkup. It is self managed but the other owners are very proactive and care for the overall building's wellbeing. I've only been there for a little while but the space is great, location very convenient for highway and public transit, as well as local shops and restaurants.
What did you like most?
It is a duplex up so there is a lot of space and there are three private decks for outdoor space. It's great for parties and hosting and I like the natural light that comes through the unit.
What did you like least?
I wish the showers were a little bigger but this is something correctable. Also wish I had two garage spots instead of one garage spot but that is not really too big of a deal. Otherwise the space is great and no complaints as of yet.
