Vibe
The City of North Miami Beach forms an older, more residential area. Since tourists don’t frequent the area, it’s perfect for someone who wants to live far away from visitors in a tightly-knit community. It provides good dining options and access to major highways, while remaining peaceful, and it appeals to the nature lover hungry for outdoor adventures. Additionally, the central location made North Miami Beach one of South Florida's best-known regional shopping areas and one of its most famous sites for offices.

Things to Know
North Miami Beach often gets confused with North Beach. NMB used to have access to the beach within its city limits, but not anymore. The ocean is not within walking distance, but is within a short ride. In general, NMB is less walkable than other Miami areas, so you do need a car to get around.
Some people prefer living on the Intracoastal Waterway to living with an ocean view. At night, all the buildings create beautiful twinkling lights on the water.
