The unit itself was beautiful, and the location was very central. The rooftop was stunning and great for entertaining. Unfortunately, the elevators, the lack of green-space, and the apathetic building management made it hard to re-sign our lease.
What did you like most?
The rooftop pool is amazing. One of the few, true rooftop pools in Denver. It's on the 25th floor with panoramic views of the mountains. The pool side is VERY small, but the other side has grills and firepits and is a lot more spacious. The units themselves are really nice and relatively spacious for the price. The bathrooms and kitchens are modern and updated, with pretty white quartz and stainless steel appliances.
What did you like least?
THE ELEVATORS. The wait time for the elevators was sometimes 20 minutes, and they broke literally constantly. My boyfriend was actually almost in one when he heard it snap and fall from the 24th floor. I feel bad for the building staff, because there is nothing they can do about it. Whoever built the building itself should have known that 3 elevators (one of which is a freight elevator) would not be enough to service 24 floors with the amenities on the 25th. This seems petty but it was absolutely maddening. Not to mention the existential panic it caused every time you heard a noise when you were in one. The neighborhood itself is in the heart of the Central Business District, so there is NO GRASS. All concrete jungle. This made my 6 minute walk to work highly enjoyable, but wasn't so great for my dog. It's in a weird location where it's downtown, but not really close to anything useful. There's a Choice Market downstairs, but everything is 3x the normal price and stock is limited. A short walk to 16th Street, but no restaurants or nightlife in the immediate vicinity.
